Hey there! I'm Amber and I was born and raised in Virginia Beach, VA. I graduated in 2002 with a BS in Human Services Counseling from Old Dominion University.

I worked in both Child and Adult Protective Services for over a decade, investigating child and adult abuse and neglect, while providing services to at-risk children and families.

Motherhood shifted my focus away from social work and led me into sales and most recently into direct sales where I have built a successful network over multiple platforms for over 6 years.

I have always been interested in real estate and felt that I could combine my social work skills and ability to listen and guide clients with my sales skills; yet I felt it too risky to switch careers in my late 30's.

When an exciting opportunity presented itself to relocate myself and my family to the Gulf Coast of Florida, we nervously jumped at the thought of something new and exciting on the very Island that they normally vacationed at. AMI was love at first site back in 2016.

Shawn is my partner of 18 years is working in property management on Anna Maria Island.  We have a teenage daughter in middle school and two amazing furbabies who we treat like human children.

My best friend, Jessica Adair and I have joined forces to form The Living Local Team and we are so exited to work with you!

Personally, I wholeheartedly believe that my social work background and years of sales experience *combined* makes me a strong asset to the real estate industry!
